Templates vs Build with AI — what's the difference?

Templates open a pre-written, pre-styled deck/document you edit. Build with AI generates a fresh deck from your own content (text / file / URL / voice).

Which files can I upload?

PDF, Word (.docx), PowerPoint (.pptx), Excel (.xlsx), HTML, plain text (.txt / .md), CSV, and images (.png / .jpg). Max 10 MB per file.

When should I turn on 'Describe images'?

Accepted Answer

Turn it on for visual-heavy files (mockups, charts, screenshots) or scanned PDFs with no text layer. We pass each image to an AI vision model for a textual description. Adds a few seconds per image.

Can I share a deck without sign-up?

Yes — every deck has a /d/<id> share URL. Optionally protect it with a password from the deck's Share panel.

Is there a free plan?

Yes — every account gets 3 free decks, no card required. After that you pick a plan or start the 7-day Studio trial.

What's in the 7-day Studio trial?

Full Studio access: 10 trial decks + 5 AI-generated images during the 7 days. After day 7, billing kicks in automatically unless you cancel.

Why is VAT shown at checkout?

Accepted Answer

Paddle (our payment processor) is the merchant of record. They add your country's VAT on top of our published price. We get our net price; the VAT goes straight to your tax authority.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Open Account → Manage subscription. Paddle's portal lets you cancel anytime; you keep access until the current billing period ends.

Do you offer refunds?

If something doesn't work as promised, reply to your receipt within 14 days and we'll refund. If your usage during the period materially exceeds the trial allowance (10 decks + 5 AI images), refunds are at our discretion and typically prorated to reflect actual costs. Consumer statutory rights in the EU and UK are preserved regardless. Full policy on /terms.

Can I switch between Monthly and Annual?

Where is my content stored?

On our infrastructure in Europe (Frankfurt). We don't sell, share, or train AI models on your content.

Can I delete my account?

Account → Delete account. Removes you and every deck you created. Irreversible.
