Slack Alerts — Know the Moment Your Deck Is Opened
Connect a Slack channel and get a ping the moment your deck is opened, reaches a key slide, or holds a viewer's attention.
A message lands in your channel the instant a prospect opens the deck you sent.
Get notified when a viewer reaches the slide that matters — pricing, the ask, the close.
A daily digest rounds up every view, so the whole team sees momentum without asking.
Where your team already is
Know the moment your deck lands — in the Slack channel you already watch.
An organization admin connects a Slack Incoming Webhook once, and Decks posts a short alert to your channel when a deck is opened, when a viewer reaches a key slide, when someone spends real time on it, and a daily digest of views. You choose which of these fire; alerts are best-effort and de-duplicated over a week so the channel is never spammed. It is one-way — Decks posts to your Slack, nothing more — not an interactive bot, and no dashboard to refresh.

Alerts arrive as they happen
How it works
From one link to an alert in your channel
Connect a webhook once
In your workspace’s Notifications settings, an admin pastes a Slack Incoming Webhook URL for the channel you choose. One time, one organization.
Choose which alerts fire
Turn on any of: deck opened, a viewer reaching a key slide, a viewer dwelling (spending real time on it), and a daily digest. Leave the rest off.
Decks posts to your channel
When one of those events happens on any deck in the organization, Decks sends a short message to that Slack channel — no dashboard to open, no email to dig for.
Quiet by design
Alerts are best-effort and de-duplicated over a week, so a deck re-opened ten times will not flood the channel. It is one-way (Decks → your channel), not an interactive app.
Where teams use it
The signal lands where your team already looks
- Sales
Know when it lands
The second a prospect opens your proposal, the alert hits the channel — follow up while you are still top of mind, instead of guessing whether they read it.
- Fundraising
Investor attention
See the moment an investor opens the deck and reaches the ask slide, so the whole team knows the round is moving — without anyone refreshing a dashboard.
- Team
Momentum everyone sees
The daily digest drops each morning in the channel your team already lives in — opens, top decks, and yesterday’s activity, visible to everyone at once.
Why it matters
The alert finds you — you don't go looking.
A deck’s most valuable moment is the one right after it is opened, while the prospect still has it in front of them. A dashboard only helps if someone remembers to check it; an email gets buried. A Slack alert lands where your team is already looking, the instant it matters — and because it is de-duplicated and opt-in per event, the signal stays sharp instead of turning into noise. It is deliberately one-way: Decks tells your channel what happened, and that is all it needs to do.
